Nvidia launches GeForce GTX 460 V2

Nvidia GPUs Geforce GTX 460 launched in July last year, still enjoy great popularity among consumers, although in theory should have been replaced by the current Geforce GTX 560 Series. Nvidia quietly brings a new and curious launch its "new" GPU Geforce GTX 460 V2. The Geforce GTX 460 V2 GPU, although its name suggests, is based on the old Fermi GF104 core which are based the rest of the GPUs of the GeForce GTX 460, but in the current Fermi GF114, used in the Geforce GTX 560 Series (except Ti Geforce GTX 560 448 Cores, which is based on the core GF110). Its specifications are very similar to the recent Geforce GTX 560 SE, but comes a little cut on features. The Nvidia Geforce GTX 460 GPU runs at 778MHz V2, has 336 shader processors running at 1556MHz, 56 texture units, 24 ROPs, 7 motors Polymorph Engine, 1GB of GDDR5 memory with 192-bit bus running at 1002MHz (4008MHz effective), and a 160W TDP. Full specifications here:
By having less specific than the Geforce GTX 560 SE, the TDP is expected that similar or lower, but curiously its TDP is 10W higher than that of her older sister, but their performance should be pretty close to hers.
